How to get here

By car

A few kilometres from Bormio, Livigno and from the Stelvio mountain pass (district of Sondrio) in the village of Fiordalpe (Valdidentro) starts a road, with some hairpin bends that brings to the Cancano’s lakes in the Valley of Fraele at 2000 mt. After having run along the lake of Scale there is the Ristoro, in front of a large yard, from where you can admire the impressive dam.

During summer time to reach the parking areas you have to pay a toll of € 5,00 each car. You can buy the ticket directly at the totems located along the road.

On foot or by bike

In summer you can reach the Ristoro Monte Scale on foot or by mountain bike from the valleys of: Forcola, Mora (via Santa Maria Mustair in Swiss), Gallo (Buffalora- Pass del Forn in Swiss), Alpisella, Pila, Trela and Vezzola or, if you prefere, from the road near the Bagni Vecchi or through the gravel road named Decauville.

By bus

In summer you can leave your car in the village of Isolaccia and reach us by bus: comfortable, cheap and…green. For further info about the Cancano Express here About others Perego’s bus lines here
